These services include daily air and sea consolidation, express services and indent to provide our customers with up to date information on the status of their orders.

PROTEC MARINE :
Airfreight Division offers a fast and reliable door-to-door service for general and perishable cargo on a 24 hour basis.

The Division can also organize air charter for large consignments on short notice.
The Sea freight Division provides full assistance with full and part container loads, break bulk and bulk consignments. Services include selection of the correct shipping mode, collection, cargo or container packing and unpacking, marine insurance as well as warehousing and distribution.

Experienced Customs Clearing personnel are available in all PROTEC MARINE offices to assist with tariff classifications, audits and detailed costing. Personnel maintain daily contact with the various Government Departments, while the company's online interfacing with the relevant authorities allows for the completion of customs clearance processes in the shortest possible time.

Custom Clearing

  • The Clearing & Forwarding Division has been registered with customs at all the major ports and Airports and is an accredited client of Customs.
  • All entries are submitted electronically to customs

Custom Tariff Consulting

  • Direct representation and negotiation with Customs to reach agreement on the most advantageous duty structures;
  • Application to Customs in order to obtain written Customs rulings;
  • Formulation of a tariff / duty Library for the total range of our clients’ imported products

Inbound Forwarding

  • By establishing our clients Air or Ocean Freight needs we can offer Time Defined or Flash Services for Air Freight Shipments and FCL, Group age or Break bulk for Ocean Freight Shipments.

Landed Costing

  • We are able to provide full landed costing which detail the landed costs per product.
  • It is available in hard copy or in an electronic version. It can be tailored to meet the client’s needs
  • We are able to produce a consolidated schedule of all products imported and the landed cost per product

Bonded Warehousing

  • Bonded Warehousing – We have extensive Bond Store facilities and offer Custom Clearing from our own or 3 rd party Bonded Warehouse facilities.
  • We can assist clients with the running of their own bonded warehouses to ensure customs procedures are strictly adhered to.
